Terms of Service

Last updated: 17 July 2026. By using Undercurrent (operated by James Robinson, based in the United Kingdom, trading as "Undercurrent") you agree to these terms.

1. What Undercurrent is

Undercurrent is an educational self-reflection tool that turns your assessment answers into a personality and relationship-pattern report. It is not therapy, counselling, medical or mental-health advice, or a diagnosis, and is not a substitute for a qualified professional. 2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older and able to form a binding contract to use Undercurrent.

3. Your account

You're responsible for your login and for the accuracy of what you submit. Keep your credentials secure. You can delete your account and data at any time from the account page, or by emailing privacy@undercurrentquiz.com.

4. Payment & refunds

The assessment and a free report are free. The full report is a one-time payment (no subscription) processed by Stripe. Because the report is digital content delivered immediately, statutory cancellation rights may not apply once you've accessed it; even so, if you're not satisfied, email hello@undercurrentquiz.com within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund you. Prices are shown at checkout.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no unlawful use, no attempts to break security, scrape, resell, or reverse-engineer the assessment, and don't submit data about another person without their consent.

6. Intellectual property

The assessment, archetypes, report content, software, and brand are owned by James Robinson (trading as Undercurrent). Your report is for your personal, non-commercial use. Your answers remain yours.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is". Insights are interpretive and may not be accurate for everyone; they depend on honest, consistent answers and your mood and context. We make no warranty that results are correct, complete, or fit for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, James Robinson (trading as Undercurrent) is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on the report. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Changes & termination

We may update the service or these terms; material changes will be posted here. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to its courts (unless local consumer law gives you other rights).
